A special highlight for Central was the recognition of Riley Childs and Christian Raines, who received special jerseys for being amazing readers. Their recognition was a proud moment for Central and a celebration of their reading accomplishments.
Presented with Read with Malcolm–Share the Magic Foundation, the high-energy rally focused on the power of literacy. Mitchell shared his inspiring personal story of how learning to read changed the direction of his life, encouraging students to explore new books, persevere through challenges, and continue growing as readers.
Every student received a copy of Mitchell’s newest book, My Super Duper Me, to take home and add to their personal library.
Central Elementary-High School thanks Chattahoochee-Flint RESA, Malcolm Mitchell, and Share the Magic Foundation for this memorable learning experience. Congratulations to Riley Childs and Christian Raines for their special recognition and for making Central proud!
