Central Elementary-High School (CHS) and the JROTC Hawk Battalion wishes to invite all veterans of Talbot County and the surrounding areas to attend the 2025 Veterans Day Ceremony hosted in your honor. All service branches are welcome as well as all community leaders and community members.

This year we want to invite each of you and your family members to the Veterans Day Ceremony assembled in your honor on Tuesday, November 11th, at Central Elementary-High School. The event will take place in the gymnasium from 9:30 a.m. – 10:35 a.m.

All veterans and their family members are also invited to a bruncheon from 8:40 a.m. – 9:20 a.m. in the CHS Army JROTC classroom. Please join us for fellowship and camaraderie as we celebrate all you have done for our nation and community.

The Hawk Battalion also would like to recognize each of you on this special day through a slide presentation for the entire assembly. If you have previously sent us your information, we still have it. If you have not previously sent it, we ask that each of you submit the following information.

We need the Veteran Name, Rank, Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), Branch of Service, the years served to and from, and list any campaigns or wars participated in. If you have a photo of yours or their “Glory Days” in the military that would even make it more special. Please send all information to CW4 (Ret.)
