Highly Qualified Teachers
For more information regarding the No Child Left Behind "Highly Qualified" teachers initiative, please visit http://www.nea.org. Using the search feature, type in highly qualified teachers.
We are committed to continually seeking to improve instruction for
our students. We hope that all parents will become involved
in our school improvement initiatives as we continue to monitor
student achievement and set high expectations. We encourage
parents to get to know their child's teacher and the class
routines and expectations.
We are proud of the professional credentials of our teaching staff
and will furnish to parents, upon request, the professional
qualifications of any of their student's classroom teachers.
This includes information concerning the grade levels and content
areas in which the teacher is certified, the major fields and
degrees held by the teacher, and the qualifications of any
paraprofessional who provides services to their child.
Under the Georgia Open Records Law, all applications and resumes are subject to public disclosure upon receipt by the Board of Education.
Talbot County Public Schools do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin or disability.
